Tranzyt is a peer-to-peer delivery service matching people who have items they want delivered with our drivers, known as “Doers”, already on the road in their cars, vans, or pickup trucks. Doers can accept delivery requests through our Tranzyt Driver App by using their mobile phones. Doers don’t work for us. They work for you. With a few extra minutes and extra space to give your goods a lift, they allow you to save time and money. And what’s better? Together, you and Tranzyt Doers are helping the environment by decreasing the number of cars on the road and reducing your carbon footprint!

Our “On Demand Delivery” can deliver almost anything, anywhere, anytime locally. With personalized pick-up and delivery from an envelope to a fridge, Tranzyt offers personal, reliable and safe hand-to-hand delivery in minutes.

Tranzyt offers local delivery whether you’re sending your item around the corner or across town. Tranzyt is the smarter, safer, more sustainable, and often cheapest way to get your goods where they’re going.

Moving is the worst! Tranzyt would love to help make it a little easier. While we’re not a moving company, you can definitely use Tranzyt to move some of your larger, hard-to-pack items like couches, beds, and refrigerator.

Tranzyt driver comes right to your business’ door and all the way to your recipient’s door! Our doers can handle your item delivery in minutes. That’s one less trip for you to worry about!

All our Tranzyt drivers undergo a driver’s orientation to understand the standard procedures created to deliver safe, reliable, and quality service to you. Tranzyt drivers are people that live in your community who want to make extra money during their spare time delivering with us. Tranzyt drivers use their own vehicles to help you with your delivery needs.

All of the drivers are at least 19 years old, with a valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance. All drivers must pass a background check to be a Tranzyt Doer. Tranzyt delivery is available every day, all day! We’re here for you 24/7.

As of now, Tranzyt delivers in the following areas of Pennsylvania: Philadelphia, Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County, and Bucks County. However, Tranzyt is looking to expand its area of operation in the near future, so keep an eye out for the update!

Creating an account will allow you to have your item delivered with Tranzyt and keep track of all the deliveries that you have requested in the past. More importantly, you can track the location of the driver and your item using our app’s live tracking feature.

You can update your business information from your app. Tap on your business Profile Photo> Edit and update your info.

With a business account, Tranzyt assists small businesses with their deliveries to customers and other businesses and allows business account holders to add their team members for full access to the business’s deliveries with Tranzyt.

With a personal account, Tranzyt can help you send anything to your loved ones without having to make the trip yourself!

Tranzyt is happy to partner with your business to get your items where they’re going! Just download the Tranzyt App, scroll down and tap Create a Business Account, and follow the instructions to fill in your business’s information. To get started with a business account, just follow these simple steps:

  • Sign up with your Business Name.
  • Enter your mobile number.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Complete registration.
  • Upload your business legal license.
  • Tap submit. That’s all.

Once your business account is verified and active, sign into your account and you can start requesting Tranzyt delivery for your business.

Yes, your business locations can be under one account. Tranzyt is a highly flexible application that can help you manage all your business locations from one account. Tap on your business Profile Photo> Tap Edit> Other locations> Add more locations. You need to upload the business license of this new location you want to add.

Yes, you can. If your business license has expired, we recommend that you upload your new business license to keep your account active. We also inform our business partners if there are any documents that need attention.

Once your business account is active, you can give others at your organization full access to handle your business deliveries needed by adding them to your account. You can add up to 3 users at each location. To add a user, tap on your Business Profile Photo> Edit> Add user> Enter the user info. You need to add the business location of this new user you want add.

To request a delivery, enter your Pickup & Transfer-to locations, select your item size, enter your item details and you’re ready to send your delivery request.

Not ready to send your item yet? No problem! When requesting a delivery, you have the option to deliver Now (As soon as possible) or Later as a scheduled delivery for a later time or day.

Tranzyt app is available on iOS app and Android app! The app pairs drivers with nearby customers that need to make a delivery.

You may request a specific type of vehicle by selecting the right size of your item. Tranzyt makes it easier for you to identify the suitable vehicle for your delivery by categorizing items into 4 size categories: Small, Medium, Large, or X-Large. Just choose the size category that fits your item’s size, and you’re ready to go!

Yes, you are! We have two options for deliveries. You can choose Deliver Now (As soon as possible) or Later (At a time you schedule) for your convenience.

Yes. While Tranzyt offers multiple-item delivery, it does offer multiple-stop deliveries.

No, passengers are not allowed on our doers’ cars.

You definitely can! Watch your item’s location every step of the way with live tracking on the app.

Yes, you can! Once your item is picked up by the driver, you can share real time tracking with the recipient. This way, the recipient can get ready to receive the item when the driver is close by.

We know things come up from time to time. If your item is still in transit, you’re able to update your delivery information or request the return of your item. From your app while you’re tracking your delivery, tap on the return item button on the bottom. You can only request returns of your Small and Medium items back to the pickup point or to another location you choose. There’s an additional fee for this return request. There are No Returns on items in the Large and X-Large size categories.

For business Tranzyts, we have a maximum limit of 10 items per Tranzyt.

An e-invoice will be sent to your email address upon the completion of each successful delivery. Additionally, you can see your delivery details from your app. Go to Your Tranzyt App > Past and select the delivery that you’d like to review.

Yes, but there is an additional fee for this service ($10 flat fee for all sizes. Fee will be added to the total amount if requested). You can select the Special help by driver form the item details page or the Tranzyt summary page. If your item requires more than one person to lift them please make sure you have extra help to load and unload your items when your Tranzyt doer shows up.

If your item is too large for the doer to safely move on their own, you will be asked to provide assistance. However, if you are unable to provide assistance, your delivery request may need to be canceled or rescheduled to a different time when you can arrange for someone to lend a hand.

All items are automatically insured up to $500. We don’t transport items valued at more than $500.

Tranzyt uses a straightforward size classification system ranging from Small to X-Large. The delivery items are separated into 4 main sizes with different weight ranges within each size category.

Small Item -Fits in the front or back seat of a car

Weight: Up to 30 lbs.

Size: (L20”xW15”xH20”)

Medium Item -Fits in a Hatchback or SUV

Weight: Up to 50 lbs.

Size: (L30”xW20”xH30”)

Large Item -Fits in a Van

Weight: Up to 100 lbs.

Size: (L55”xW35”xH40”)

X-Large Item -Fits in a Pickup truck

Weight: Up to 150 lbs.

Size: (L100”xW50”xH60”)

It's important to remember that Tranzyt Drivers aren't movers, so if you're sending heavy or oversized items, make sure to have someone at pickup and drop-off to help load your items into the vehicle. While most drivers can take a number of items, like a lamp, TV, and chair as a large item, you cannot request a single-item delivery for a bundle of large items. If you have a lot of furniture that needs to be transported, we recommend creating multiple delivery requests that split large loads into more manageable loads. Not only will this be easier when it comes to loading your items into the driver's vehicle, but it'll also attract more drivers who have the ability to deliver the items for you.

It’s important to note that as a Sender, you should be conscious of the size of the item you’re delivering. The largest item size we have is ‘X-Large’ which is designed to fit inside the bed of a flatbed truck. Please keep in mind that you cannot transport more than 5 items at a time, and that the size of the items determines if the driver would be able to complete your delivery.

It’s also important to know that Tranzyt Drivers are not movers, but they can help you with tasks related to your requested delivery (such as lifting the items) for an additional fee. If you are looking for services that extend to packing your belongings and moving them altogether, we recommend that you seek the help of moving companies that offer those services, as Tranzyt is designed for on-demand delivery services only.

Without a doubt, Tranzyt offers different car sizes for your item. Our Doers drive everything from a sedan or an SUV to a van or pickup truck!

Do take note that our drivers reserve the right to refuse any delivery where items are not true to item descriptions, illegal, sensitive to their religion, would put them in danger, or are listed in Tranzyt’s prohibited items list. The safety of our community and our drivers is our priority.

Yes, there are some items that are prohibited (“Prohibited Items”) to deliver and/or any items for which you do not have permission to send through the Tranzyt App for legal and safety reasons. Prohibited items include, but not limited to:

  • Any illegal items;
  • People;
  • Stolen goods;
  • Fragile items;
  • Jewelry;
  • Fireworks;
  • Hazardous waste;
  • Beverages, highly perishable food or beverages (e.g., raw meat or dairy products);
  • Animals, regulated species (e.g., noxious weeds, prohibited seeds), or animal parts, bloods, or fluids; or;
  • Sexual aids, obscene or pornographic material;
  • Tobacco products or alcoholic beverages;
  • Recreational drugs, drug paraphernalia;
  • Firearms, weapons, ammunition, and their parts;
  • Sick, injured, or aggressive animals;
  • Medicine, pharmaceutical products, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, or supplements;
  • Currency, postage stamps or money orders, gift cards, lottery tickets;
  • Cremated remains, human remains, human body parts;

Unfortunately, we do not deliver any type of food via Tranzyt.

Business accounts are completely free to sign up, and you can get an instant estimate for deliveries. Our prices vary as we charge depending on item size, number of items and distance. The app will give you a total price for your delivery once you’re done entering your item’s details. If you’re happy with the cost, you may proceed to making a delivery request. Because drivers are already on the road and waiting for your delivery request, many businesses find that we're a faster, cheaper, and more convenient option to send items on-demand or at their convenience to their customers.

Tranzyt accepts payment by Credit Card or Debit Card for both personal and business accounts.

If you're a first-time Sender or Receiver, we’ll ask you to enter a payment method (either credit card or debit card) if we don't already have one on file. This is required of all of Tranzyt’s users. We'll authorize your payment method for the full price of the delivery.

Once your delivery is complete, we will deduct the full price of your delivery including any additional fees, if applicable.

To take advantage of delivery discounts, you will need to apply a valid promo code right after you select your item size. Once you enter a promo code, your discount will be applied to your total cost of your delivery.

Once you send your delivery request, nearby drivers will be able to accept your request in seconds. If your delivery request doesn't get accepted by a Driver for some reason, you'll be notified at the end of your specified pick-up time frame and you can choose Later to schedule your delivery or you can try again in a few minutes. If you’ve scheduled your delivery for a later time or date, you will be matched with a Driver within three hours of pickup. The right Tranzyt Driver will pop up, no worries!

Tranzyt has set categories with the maximum weight and measurements of items that can be delivered by certain vehicles. We ask that you measure your item and/or weigh it before requesting a Tranzyt Driver for delivery. If your item doesn’t fit in a van or a pickup truck (maximum weight of 230 lbs and maximum dimensions of L100”xW50”xH60”), it’s probably too big to be delivered with Tranzyt.

If you won’t be available to receive your item back from the driver, you can enter the information of another person that can accept your item that is being returned. Tap item details> Edit sender> Select someone else and enter the name and phone number of the recipient so the driver can give the item to the right person. You can only do that if you know you aren’t going to be available at the same pickup location. We ask that you try your best to make sure there is someone available to accept your item’s return. Always double check with your recipient to be available for pickup. Remember that you can change the drop-off address and contact before your driver picks the item up

We discourage this behavior, so if a Driver is asking your customer for more money, immediately contact us at for this issue. On the other hand, if you’d like to pay a little extra to help, you can add a tip for the driver at the end of the delivery trip.

A fee is charged if you cancel a request 2 minutes after a driver accepts your request. If you must cancel a delivery request, be sure to do so before the grace period in order to avoid a fee. All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

If the driver is unable to reach the recipient at the drop-off point, the driver will contact the sender to find out what he/she can do. The driver could wait for a few more minutes upon the sender’s request to extend the wait time, or the sender can request the driver to return the item back to the same pickup point or to another location the sender chooses. We will charge an additional fee for this return item request and wait time. Do note that you can update your item details like drop-off location, return item, and recipient info while your delivery is still in transit.
