Tranzyt is a peer-to-peer delivery service matching people who have something they want delivered with our drivers, known as “Doers” already on the road, whether they are in their cars, van or on their pickup truck. Doers can accept deliveries through our Tranzyt Driver App to pick up and deliver by using their mobile phone, make some money and hopefully save the environment as well. Doers don’t work for us. They work for you. With a few extra minutes and extra space to give your goods a lift, they allow you to save time and money.

Our “On Demand Delivery” can deliver almost anything, anywhere, anytime locally. Personalized pick-up and delivery from an envelope to a washer, Tranzyt offers personal, reliable and safe hand-to-hand delivery in minutes.

Local delivery whether you’re sending your item around the corner or across town, Tranzyt is the smarter, safer, sustainable and often cheapest way to get your goods where they’re going. Tranzyt categorizes items into Small, Medium, Large, X-Large sizes. If your item won't fit in the back of the biggest pickup truck, then it's probably too big for our Doer to delivery your item.

Sign up for free to create your business account then complete the process of your registration to introduce yourself and your business, and we’ll be in touch as soon as our team reviews your completed application. Once we finish up our checks, we’ll send you an email that you provided in the application.

To get started do the following:

  • Sign up with your Business Name.
  • Enter your mobile number.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Complete registration.
  • Upload your business legal license.
  • Tap submit. That’s all.

Once your business account is verified and active, sign into your account and you can start requesting Tranzyt delivery for your business.

As of now, we are only covering the Philadelphia area. We’re looking to move into other areas in the near future.

Yes, your business locations can be under one account. Tranzyt is a highly flexible application that can help you manage all your business locations from one account. Tap on your business Profile Photo> Tap Edit> Other locations> Add more locations. You need to upload the business license of this new location you want to add.

Yes you can. If your business license has expired, we recommend that you upload your new business license to keep your account active. We also inform our business partners if there are any documents that need attention.

Business accounts are completely free to sign up, and you can get an instant estimate price for deliveries. Our prices vary as we charge depending on item size, number of items and distance. The app will give you a total of your delivery once you’re done entering your item’s details. If you’re happy with the cost, you may proceed to making a delivery request. Because drivers are already on the road and waiting for your delivery request, many businesses find that we're a faster, cheaper, and a more convenient option to send anything to the customers.

Yes. People, pets, livestock, drugs, guns, weapons, hazardous materials, explosives, biological products, fine art or anything that is illegal are not allowed to be delivered. Unfortunately, we also do not deliver any type of food. We also cannot deliver extremely heavy and bulky items that are unable to be held in person. When selecting a vehicle and equipment needed for your delivery, please be sure to mindful of the size of your items. For example, X-Large-size washer requires a box truck with a lift gate and an appliance dolly. If your project is too large for the vehicle you selected, your delivery may need to be cancelled or rescheduled.

Do take note that our drivers reserve the rights to refuse any delivery that’s not true to item descriptions, items that are illegal or sensitive to their religion or would put them in danger. The safety of our community and our drivers is our priority.

There are 2 easy ways to request a delivery via our app- you can either request a delivery ASAP (As soon as possible) or Later as a scheduled delivery for a later time or day.

To request delivery:

1. Enter your Pickup & Transfer-to locations.

2. Select your item size.

3. Add your item details like item photos, item name and if there is any special instructions for your item or note for the driver.

4. You’re ready to send your delivery request.

Tranzyt app is available on iOS app and Android app! The app pairs drivers with nearby customers that need to make a delivery.

Once your business account is active, you can give others at your organization full access to handle your business deliveries needed by adding them to your account. You can add up to 3 users at each location. To add a user, Tap on your business Profile Photo> Tap Edit> Add user> Enter the user info. You need to add the business location of this new user you want add.

Tranzyt delivery is available every day, 24/7. Also, you can contact us via email from your app. Go to the side menu top on Help>Contact us>Email us.

You definitely can! Watch your item’s location every step of the way with live tracking on the app.

Payment is by Credit Card or Debit Card for both, personal and business accounts. If you're a first-time Sender or Receiver, we’ll ask you to enter a payment method (either credit card or debit card) if we don't already have one on file. This is required of all users to have a payment method on their account. We'll authorize your payment method for the full price of the delivery. Once your delivery is complete, we will deduct the full price of your delivery including any additional fees, if applied.

All our Tranzyt drivers undergo a driver’s orientation to understand the standard procedures created to deliver safe, reliable and quality service to you. Tranzyt drivers are people that live in your community who want to make extra money during their spare time delivering with us using their own vehicle to help you with your delivery needs. All of the drivers are at least 19 years old, with a valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance. All drivers must pass a background check to be a Tranzyt Doer. Should you have any concerns or feedback, do reach out to our customer support center from your app. Go to the side menu top on Help>Contact us>Email us and we will do our best to assist you.

Tranzyt provides a delivery confirmation code as a secure system to confirm that the delivery is completed as expected upon drop off point.

If the driver is unable to reach the recipient at the drop-off point, driver will contact the sender to find out what he/she can do. An option is for the driver to wait an extra of time, or the sender can request the driver to return the item back to the same pickup point or to another location the sender chooses. We will charge an additional fee for this return item request and wait time. Do note that you can make updates on your item details like drop-off location, return item and recipient info during your delivery still in transit.

An e-invoice will be sent to your email address upon the completion of each successful delivery. Also you can see your delivery details from your app. Go to Your Tranzyt>Tap Past and select the delivery that you’d like to review.

You may request for a specific type of vehicle by selecting the right size of your item.

Yes, you are. We have two options of deliveries. Deliver Now (As soon as possible) or Later (As a scheduled - In 3 hours or more).

Once your delivery is complete, we will deduct the full price of your delivery including any additional fees if applied from your payment method on file.

All items are automatically insured up to $500. We don’t transport items valued at more than $500.

Without a doubt, Tranzyt offers different car sizes for your item. Our Doers drive everything from a sedan to an SUV to van to pickup truck.

Yes, but there is an additional fee for this service ($10 flat fee for all sizes. Fee will be added to the total amount if requested). You can select the (Special help by driver button) form the item details page. If your item requires more than one person to lift them please make sure you have an extra help to load and unload your items when your Tranzyt doer shows up.

If your item is too large for the doer to safely move on their own, you will be asked to provide assistance. However, if you are unable to provide assistance, your delivery request may need to be canceled or rescheduled.

You can update your business information from your app. Tap on your Picture>Edit and change your info.

Tranzyt driver comes right to your business door, and all the way to your recipient’s door. Our doers can handle your item delivery in minutes.

No, each Tranzyt item has a single pickup location and a single drop-off location. If you want to use Tranzyt for a multi-stop delivery, you will need to create individual item for each stop.

We deliver everything and anything with the exception of certain items.

Do take note that our drivers reserve the rights to refuse any delivery that’s not true to item descriptions, items that are illegal or sensitive to their religion or would put them in danger.

Of course, there are some items that are prohibited to deliver through the Tranzyt App. Prohibited items include:

  • Food
  • Animals
  • Anything illegal
  • People
  • Jewelry
  • Tobacco or alcoholic beverages
  • Firearms or weapons
  • Fireworks
  • Hazardous waste
  • Sick, injured, or aggressive animals
  • Medicine
  • Currency, postage stamps or money orders
  • Cremated remains, human remains, human body parts, etc.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver any type of food via Tranzyt.

Tranzyt uses a straightforward size classification system ranging from Small to X-Large. The size of delivery items are separated into 4 main size categories with different weight ranges within each item size category.

Small Item -Fits in the front seat of a car

Weight: Up to 20 lbs.

Size: (L20”xW15”xH20”)

Medium Item -Fits in the backseat of a car

Weight: Up to 40 lbs.

Size: (L30”xW20”xH30”)

Large Item -Fits in a SUV or hatchback

Weight: Up to 100 lbs.

Size: (L55”xW35”xH40”)

X-Large Item -Fits in a van or pickup truck

Weight: Up to 230 lbs.

Size: (L100”xW50”xH60”)

It's important to remember that Tranzyt Drivers aren't movers, so if you're sending heavy or oversized items, make sure to have someone at pickup and drop-off to help load your items into the vehicle. While most drivers can take a number of items, like a lamb, TV, and chair as a large item, you cannot ship an entire Livingroom in a single item (As Large). If you have a lot of furniture that needs to be transported, we recommend creating multiple items that split large loads into more manageable loads. Not only will this be easier when it comes to loading your items into the driver's vehicle, but it'll also attract more drivers who have the ability to deliver the items for you.

It’s important to note that as a Sender, you should be conscious of the size of the Item you’re delivering. The largest item size we have is ‘X-Large’ which is designed to fit inside the bed of a flatbed truck- so keep in mind that you can’t list an entire apartment in a single delivery.

It’s also important to know that Tranzyt Drivers are not movers but they can help you with decent things for an additional fee. If you need someone to lift your items and pack them away, you should look into a moving company as they’re going to be able to accommodate your needs a bit better than Tranzyt.

Moving is the worst! And Tranzyt would love to help make it a little easier. While we’re not a moving company, you can definitely use Tranzyt to move some of your larger, hard-to-pack items like couches, beds, and refrigerator.

Once you send your delivery request, the nearby driver will expect your request in seconds. If your Item doesn't get accepted with a Driver for some reason, you'll be notified at the end of your specified pick-up window and you can choose later to schedule your delivery or you can try again in a few minutes. If you’ve scheduled your delivery for a later time or date, you will be matched with a Driver within three hours of pickup. The right Tranzyt Driver will pop up, no worries.

We know things come up from time to time. If your item is still in transit you’re able to do some updates on your delivery, like changing your drop-off location, recipient info and request a return item. From your app while you’re tracking your delivery you have the return item button in the bottom. You can only request the driver to return your Small and Medium items back to the pickup point or to another location you choose. There’s an additional fee for this return request. There are No Returns on big items like (Large and X-Large).

Creating an account will allow you to deliver with Tranzyt and to keep track of all the deliveries that you have requested. You can track the location of the driver and your item in live tracking through the app.

We discourage this behavior, so if you heard a driver asked your customers for more money, email us at support@tranzyt.app immediately for this issue. On the other hand, if you’d like to pay a little extra to help, you can add tip for the driver at the end of the delivery trip.

Yes you can, once your item is picked up by the driver you can share a real time tracking with the recipient so he or she can get ready to receive the item.

If you won’t be available to receive your item back from the driver, you can update the name by selecting someone else. Tap item details> Edit sender> Select someone else and enter the name and phone number of the recipient so the driver can give the item to the right person. You can only do that if you know you aren’t going to be available at the same pickup location. In the worst circumstances if you are not be available to get your item back, the driver will deliver your item to our main office to keep it there until you come to pick it up or we can deliver it back to you with an additional fee. If you don’t claim your item within 48/hours we will destroy your item.

For business we have a limit of maximum of 10 items per Tranzyt.

Yes. You can make updates on your item’s details like drop-off location, return item and recipient info during your delivery still in Tranzyt. From the Tranzyt page click on edit button next to the item info in the bottom of the App page.

A fee is charged if you cancel a request 2 minutes after a driver accepts your request. If you must cancel a delivery request, be sure to do so before the grace period in order to avoid a fee. All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
